Birds must be picked up on the arranged date and time windows. Delivery is not available. We do not have the facilities to store processed birds fresh or frozen. They are processed on the agreed pick-up day to ensure you are receiving the freshest product possible. Failure to pick up your birds at your scheduled time will result in losing the privilege to be in our CSA. You may also take your birds live if you prefer, as you are paying for the bird and not the field dressing. Pick up dates will be 6 to 10 weeks after birds are ordered. We will notify you 2 to 3 weeks in advance to schedule a day and time window for pickup.
When you pick up your birds, you will need a container. A cooler with ice to hold the birds is preferred. If you are taking a live bird you will need to bring a cage for transport. We require a $5 deposit per bird, due after signup. No birds will be ordered until deposit is paid.
